Ms. Cynthia Latino

I am so excited to join Escondido Elementary the Home of the Lions!

My name is Cindy Latino and I am the Principal of the Mighty Lions! This is my 14th year in Judson ISD. I graduated from Pueblo County HS, in Pueblo Colorado. After graduating I attended Colorado State University-Pueblo where I received a Bachelors Degree in Political Science and another Bachelors Degree in Sociology/Criminology. I moved to Texas in 2006 and began teaching in Southside ISD at the DAEP. I attended Our Lady of the Lake University and obtained my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction and my Principals Certification.

In 2007, I moved to Kitty Hawk MS where I served as the Department Chair of Special Education and Science. In 2013, I became the Assistant Principal of Elolf Elementary before moving to Wagner HS in 2016. In 2017, I was asked to serve at Miller’s Point ES as Assistant Principal.

Escondido Elementary  believes in our students, our families and our community. We have high expectations of our students and teachers. Many adventures await your student and there are many opportunities for your child to become involved in school and take ownership of their education!

We are excited to have you as a part of our growing Lions family!
