Today we conducted a fire drill as part of our regular safety procedures. Students and staff did a great job following directions quickly and safely. Please note — this was only a drill and there was no threat or emergency at any time.

We wanted to let you know that our campus conducted a fire drill today. This was only a drill, and all students and staff followed procedures safely and efficiently. We appreciate your support as we continue to practice and ensure everyone knows what to do in case of an emergency.

A network outage in the Metzger MS area has been identified. This issue is affecting internet and phone connection at Escondido. The service provider is currently working to resolve the issue. We will continue to send updates as they are available. Thank you for your patience.

Reminder: Students are considered late after 7:30 AM. Please do not park or wait in the fire lane. You must park in a designated spot, walk your student to the front doors, and sign them in. Thank you for helping us keep all students safe and our morning arrival running smoothly.

Today we conducted a Standard Response Protocol (SRP) HOLD drill. During a HOLD, students remain in their classrooms while learning continues as usual. This was only a drill, and no safety concerns were present. Thank you for your support as we practice procedures to keep our students safe.

Reminder: PTO Movie Night 9/19/25 5:00 pm in the cafeteria

Today, our campus conducted a lockdown DRILL following the Standard Response Protocol (SRP). Judson PD responded and assisted with the drill. Officers cleared the building and confirmed that all SRP safety procedures were followed. The drill was completed successfully, and staff and students responded appropriately.

Important Update: Due to a nearby grass fire, Binz-Engelmann is closed. To access campus, please take Woodlake Parkway to I-10 East, then turn onto 1516 South and left on Binz-Engelmann. There is no danger to our campus. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
